Surrounded By Penguins was created by a penguin lover that had a big dream to create products that would help the birds they love the most. Being a penguin lover, married to a Bird Biologist, my wife's work and pictures showed me that birds are amazing, vulnerable creatures that are not too different from humans. Surrounded By Penguins photographs real birds in their real habitats so that you can see and connect with them on a real level. On our products you will see their real personalities, strengths, endurance, togetherness, love, humanity…. When I’m having a hard time, I think of penguins and all they have to endure and overcome. How many times they fall and pick themselves back up without lamenting on having fallen... For millions of years this odd flightless bird has thrived. They are very cute but I love them because, in many ways, they feed my spirit and keep me going. They are in their awkwardness and hard life truly awe inspiring. It is my hope that our products that feature them also lift your spirits and make you feel connected.
